Stranger

Am I stranger here?

Came to so drained in a place of decline
That had seemed like it'd lost all control
If there's a system that provides bigger wisdom
I'm asking, I'm wanting to know

Some on a ledge with some thoughts over gravity
And adequate means to end all
Some on the edge with the lines from a proselytizer
That shrouds them walls

Slow sedation poured into our veins
God or pure grain
Somehow we are all the same

Fighting a feeling that everything's poised
To go black at the flick of a switch
Fighting the feeling this structure is weakening
Breaking off stitch by stitch

Am I stranger here?
