Believe It All

I can see the line between the times we were five.
Rocket ships and star fuelled dreams,
I know they weren’t mine.
If I could be stuck floating there,
I'd fly right through the stratosphere.
But memories they fade and new ones show their spark,
If you told me at that age I’d believe it all
I’d believe it all, what you said, all along,
I won't be the same, it's a shame, about the not world being okay.
I can't even see, where I stand, on my own,
time to take the blame, for the state that you stole
You wouldn’t know it now, you see me take your hand,
the feeling was captured.
You were so small back then, your little marching band,
it’ll be there forever.
But if that's true, then what can I do, I take it for granted.
Some people stay the same and others grow a part,
