Leaving the Homeland

The firmament kisses and melts the fiery walls
Boundless winter tread, and again
The kaleidoscope of worry in the ragged nerves
And leaden mark of melancholy

The web of lonely wanderings embraces
The mind soaked in black haze
Where else shall the whirlwind of fate drag me?
And shatter the fading comfort into pieces

The last glance before the lingering parting
I'm leaving these places where I lived
And deep inside the soul the steel hands grasp
The clock is ticking, life seeps through like water

Burning down the last canvasses of memories
I'm flying away with no regrets
And somewhere behind
The entire life is left, covered with ashes

Time is wasted, the path has ended
Myriads of roads are left behind
I'd like to return, but I am to sleep here
Leaving behind only a memory of myself
