Idle was the inside, beaten was my path
That weather changed so quick
I could feel the outcome bearing on my path
I wasn't ready for it

So I had to pace myself
Stagger what was left with vigilance
And think of somewhere else
To satiate my mind
To focus on a point
I thought I'd left behind
