Right from the beginning we were drowned in your lies,
without a choice in our mind we still prayed to the skies
We were taught to place our trust in power,
so corruption could reap and herd this world full of cowards

We walked blind right throughout fear

I once held faith in a spirit above.
A sense of hope that was never
unjust. He was the holder of true purity
But these messengers of immorality stole of which I wanted
to see. Now these severed eyes are tainted with my obscenity

to see a life full of truth and gain a sense of empowerment
