all I wanted was an empty room
but it was just as loud
as every passing day
in a different way

when I'm lying in the morning dark
I'm still a child
by the time I touch the floor
I miss everyone

everyone I ever met, I miss them

I went searching for some peace of mind
I drove out of town
to be a yellow splash of paint
