I've Made a Huge Mistake

I tried to light a fire, but just sprayed gasoline
Revealed the bird (but) somewhere, in there it died
And when you asked me how I felt I had no other option so I lied
And I am working on forgetting how I feel and that I ever tried

I had a great time but great times are killing me
Misdirection's harder to sustain
It's like I'm squatting on a yacht
forget me nots are mixing up my brain
And no the guy in the five thousand
dollar suit's not gonna own his pain

I'm turning dollars into pennies taking lives and making them a game
