Road To Redemption

The world is changing, as all of us
Reached some point what seemed essential
Wasn't the case anymore
I have made mistakes in my life
In the past I thought it was right

Now I can see how much I was wrong
I lacked lucidity, I was influenced
Things are different now
My omissions, my frustrations
Time healed me from all my sins

I have to redeem myself
Perhaps I don't deserve it
But in the end it is true
My desire to repent

Let me have another chance
And I will show to the world
That my sincerity is nothing but real

Stuck in this vicious circle
I saw my comrades lose their minds
With age, my vision of things evolved
I feel sorry for all the poeple
That I caused troubles for

Now that my life is close to an end
I'm scared to haven't enough time
To clean my past mistakes
I wanna leave this world in peace with myself
My legacy I will leave behind me
Is nothing to be proud of
