and as I waited here for you
listened in silence

I looked into the mirror
could barely recognise, or tell, if it was me
I felt a coldness in my chest
threw in my bags, all I had left
then disappeared, directionless

I keep walking 'round this city feeling like a ghost now
all these faces staring at me like they know me somehow
like I walked into a movie where I'm no-one, nothing
where my only role is losing all control
