I'll introduce to everybody on the band
Over there on the far, left, far right, your other left
Is, uh, what's your name?
Floyd Newman, on baritone sax
And on trombone, it's Jack Hale
And our first tenor player, is Mr. Andrew Love
The tour I'm about to do features this next gentleman
And when we made the record, he played all of the horns
The seven of them, two trumpets, and altos and so on and so forth
On flute and alto saxophone, Sidney George
And on the flugelhorn is Roger Hopps, from Fayetteville, Arkansas
And all that bad trumpet playing, once again, I say the same thing
All that bad frump playing, they're coming from Mr. Wayne Jackson
Alright
And, uh, farm horse, y-you know
That's Steven Fromholz
The newspaper reviewers
We've a cons-, a contest going
As to who can mess up Steven's name worst
We've had Farmhorse, Frumble, Framholks, with a K
His name is Fromholz, German, giespp
Right next to him is on the congas, seΓ±or JosΓ© Lala
And over here on organ, God love him, is Paul Harris
He's, he's gonna play a little for you in this next one
I mean, you know, you gotta ask him pretty for he play, you know?
And back here behind me is the man that I lean on, the rock
On bass is Fuzzy Samuels
And this next yoyo I saved for last
He's my brother, and you know how brothers are
We fight, we jump on each other
And fight and kick and stomp and all that stuff
Go through our changes, but we're still brothers
'Cause ain't nothing you can do about that
And he plays drums for this band
And he plays with me, tighter
And closer than anybody's ever played with me
On drums, Mr. Dallas Taylor
Over there on the far, left, far right, your other left
Is, uh, what's your name?
