Painted Glass

Looking out through painted glass
all my love is been attached
to this picture of the world
on the walls its colors.

I meet friends who goes outside,
I see the truth within their eye

how am I to tell them soul
tell them that I live alone.

Passing pictures through the wall
little notes with left hands scroll
I don't make promises no more
just know I'm looking for the door.
