Greener Pastures

Nothing on the horizon
I'm flying blind
A distant light is shining
It beacons me come closer
And I am sold
I can't explain it, how it feels

The shakes they come surprising
I'm in its hold
Now there's no turning back
I'm ready to go
Controls tell what I'm seeing
But it's too late
I'm a fireball raining down like brimstone

Clouds open up to greener pastures
There's someone with a welcoming face
It seems I'll be alright because
I'm greeted with a smile

I don't recognise any of this
What is this place
Trying to make some sense of it
I'm in a haze
A friendly face
Would be nice for a change
But that's not the case
That's not the case this time
