Fox Hole

And I thought I was the smallest of my kind
But among the bears I'm a measly eight feet tall
But in the woods, under the Great Fox
It's all for one and one for all
We all knew that the end could be soon
As that old owl screeched from the mouth of his beak

That the woods are gonna burn down, the smoke's gonna rise
And the trees will light up like torches
They stampede like ten thousand horses
The ash will rain and I'll be hiding in my fox hole

The Great Fox assembled his troops
The battle lines were drawn as we wait for high noon
The bear, the crow, the tortoise and the loon
The hare, the doe, the boring raccoon
All took up arms with courage in our hearts
Knowing death would surely come soon
