I was aware that time was limited
And that I'd have to keep it brief
But then, the words came out in all the wrong orders
The rest were jammed behind my teeth

So I couldn't say what I meant
The feeling and the sentiment
We're buried beneath great lengths of nothing at all
What comes next
If I'm unable to express?
I strongly suspect that it's nothing at all

Forever the feeling the ineffable
Incomprehensible at best

The sentence is forming, but nothing is giving
A jumble of syntax and subtext is pulling me
Further along into saying nothing at all
