Updated CAD renders of Samsung Galaxy S26+ released

New renders of the Samsung Galaxy S26+ have surfaced. These updated renders show minor differences, but signal a clear direction. Namely, one of little difference from last year.

Three models, similar to last year and without too many changes. That seems to be the upcoming Galaxy S26 series. New images of the Plus model, which was previously on the verge of being traded in, are surfacing, showing a slightly thicker model.

Very different from last year's S25+ is not. Except for the layout of the camera module. However, the device is a bit thicker compared to earlier published CAD renders, possibly because of the built-in Qi2 magnets.

S26 series: proven formula

Earlier, it was rumored that the S26+ would be swapped for the S26 Edge, but those plans don't seem to be going through after disappointing sales figures of the ultra-thin Edge. So Samsung is reverting to its tried-and-true formula of three models. It is not even certain if there will ever be another S26 Edge.

The Galaxy S26+ is expected to get a flat 6.7-inch screen with thin bezels that are the same size everywhere. The sides will also be flat next year. The three cameras sit on a platform this time, something Samsung did previously with the S25 Edge. Expect the S26 and S26 Ultra to get this design as well.

S26+ specifications

Further specifications may include an Exynos 2600 chip in Europe, and a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 in the U.S. and Korea. The battery may remain small compared to some manufacturers that have already switched to Silicon-Carbon batteries; 4900 mAh. No changes are also expected in terms of fast charging.

Samsung traditionally announces its new Galaxy S series early in the year. There are as many rumors that say the announcement is delayed as there are that it is on time. Only Samsung knows the answer when the S26 Plus will be launched so we recommend quietly waiting that out.
