Description:
Roger Solari suffered every caver’s worst nightmare when he went cave diving with his friend, Martyn Farr on June 15th, 1974. They both ventured deep into sump 4 of Agen Allwedd Cave in South Wales. But what began as a daring exploration into uncharted territory quickly spiraled into a nightmare when Roger began to struggle with sinus issues, and the team’s oxygen supply dwindled.
In the suffocating blackness of sump 4, every decision became a matter of life and death. Martyn managed to surface, but Roger never followed. Desperate the searches that would follow, the truth of what happened to Roger remained a mystery. Did the cave’s treacherous depths claim him, or was something more sinister at play?
