The World Cup Expansion Has To Stop Here

FIFA expanded the World Cup from 32 to 48 nations… but now there is already talk of taking it to 64 teams.
The 48-team format has given us more nations, more stories, more goals and more fan cultures that we may never have seen in the old format. I wasn’t fully convinced at first, but after seeing this World Cup, I actually think 48 teams works.
But 64?
That feels like too much.
The World Cup should still be the crème de la crème of international football. Bigger isn’t always better — and at some point, FIFA have to stop chasing more games, more money and more expansion.
Should the World Cup stay at 48 teams?
