The late '70s produced some awesome dance / disco tunes. And then there were some tunes that combined dance / disco with funk to create an awesome blend.
A great example of this was Peter Brown's "Crank It Up"! What a fun tune!!
And this clip does a great job of pairing the song with a video collage of videos from the discos of the era, because it provides a taste of the disco culture that propelled the popularity of so many tunes at the time.
For me, this tune never fails to get my toes tapping and to put me in a good / better mood! And that, in many cases, is all we want from some of the music we listen to!!
