Track 8 from their fourth album "Leftoverture" released in 1976 copyright Kirshner Records. It was their breakthrough release and remains one of the greatest albums ever recorded. It was their second recorded at Studio in the Country, located in a pine forest surrounded by the bayou sixty miles northeast of New Orleans, Louisiana. The band members recalled seeing alligators daily on the grounds and armadillos occasionally wandered into the studio during the recording sessions. It was also their third produced by Jeff Glixman, this time with the band as co-producers. Steve Walsh was suffering from writer's block and only co-wrote three songs so Kerry Livgren wrote the majority of the material. It had his usual progressive rock feel but he was able to make the songs more accessible to a wider audience and crafted timeless classic rock hits. Reviews were mixed but mostly positive. The album reached No. 68 in Australia, No. 5 in the U.S. and No. 2 in Canada. It was certified Platinum in Canada and 4X Platinum in the U.S. Written by Kerry Livgren, Steve Walsh, Rich Williams, Dave Hope, Phil Ehart & Robby Steinhardt and produced by Jeff Glixman & Kansas.
