줄거리
데이비드와 제이드는 같은 학교에 다니며 서로 사랑하는 사이다.
이들은 제이드의 방에서 뜨거운 사랑을 나눈다.
그러나 제이드의 아버지가 데이빗이 몰래 집을 넘나들고
딸이 공부를 등한시 하고 불면증에 시달리자
데이비드를 집에 못 들어오게 하고 30일간 만나지 못하게 한다.

제이드에 대한 애절한 사랑의 마음 때문에
그녀의 집에 몰래 찾아간 날 파티에서 온 다른 남자가
그녀와 대화를 나누는 것을 보고
그녀의 아버지에 대한 분노로 폭발한 데이비드는
급기야 제이드의 집 앞에 불을 지르게 되는데,
예상과 달리 불이 너무 커져 그만 집을 모두 태우고
5년 징역 대신 정신병원 수감을 명령 받는다.

몇 년이 지나도 그녀를 잊지 못한 제이드는
그녀를 찾아 갔지만 또 다른 불행이 기다리고 있었고...

첫사랑은 아프게 끝나고 만다.
