While the new $1299 MacBook Pro is quite underrated in terms of performance, there are a few things that might actually push people to spend a bit more cash and go for the $1799 model.
The 1.4GHz quad-core i5 processor performs quite well compared to the 2.4GHz CPU on the more expensive 13" MacBook Pro.
However, when you take off the bottom casing, you can see that the cheaper $1299 model loses out on quite a few things.
