Big Mick Hughes is one of the most famous sound guys, not only due to his impressive appearance. For more than 20 years he's responsible for the FoH sound of one of the most successful bands on the planet: Metallica.
We talked to him about PA systems, consoles, analog outboard and what has changed in realising 360° shows since the nineties.
The interview was shot shortly before a lecture which Big Mick did in cooperation with Meyer Sound at Oxford Brookes University.
