PATERSON, NJ – On Monday, March 28, 2022, U.S. Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-NJ-09) and Paterson Mayor Andre Sayegh will announce a federal award secured by Pascrell to restore Paterson’s Wrigley Park. The Paterson City Council is expected on Tuesday to vote to rename the park “Vera Ames Community Park” after longtime Fourth Ward Councilwoman Vera Ames.
