Scheduled Maintenance – Major Gameplay Changes Update

Discover essential gameplay updates and patch notes, including Casual mode enhancements and Relic chest improvements, ensuring a smoother and more rewarding gaming experience.

Attention Chieftains — scheduled maintenance will begin at 08:00 UTC on April 29 and is expected to last about one hour.

A client update is included in this patch; please update your game client before reconnecting.

Thank you for your patience and support.

Major gameplay changes and feature notes:

  • Casual mode: deployed tribesmen who are in dying or fake-death states are no longer vulnerable to enemy damage.
  • Relic chests that give masks or mask-limiting modules: within a 10-minute window, multiple tribe members can open the same chest concurrently; each player can claim one individual reward.
  • Quest mission chests (single- and multiplayer): adjusted so multiple players can open them at the same time and each receive one reward.
  • Torch of Eternity (Tier 2): now keeps the crystallization effect from Tier 1, but the protective field no longer grants invincibility.
  • Mimicry and Awareness Transfer: input configuration now supports separate, independent key bindings.
  • Beds can be recycled or dismantled even if an unrecruited tribesman is lying on them.
  • Forced disengage range for elite wild creatures has been tuned.
  • Airship docking system blueprint is now available for private servers; to protect official server stability, the docking system remains disabled on official servers for now.

Talent trait revisions (new trigger rules and caps):

  • Bloodfury Pursuit: trigger changed from "on taking damage" to "on dealing damage." Added an attack bonus cap of 50 / 100 / 150.
  • Rampage: effect changed from "20% of damage dealt converted to health" to "20% chance to convert 25% of damage dealt to health."
  • Attack Steal: per-stack attack bonus reduced from 30 to 20.
  • Attack-Defense Resonance — Attack: now raises whichever of the player’s attack or defense is lower; capped at 100 attack points.
  • Attack-Defense Alteration — Attack: now converts half of current defense into attack at a 50% rate (was 50% of defense previously); capped at 150 attack points.
  • Attack-Defense Resonance — Defense: increases the lower of attack or defense; capped at 100 defense points.
  • Attack-Defense Alteration — Defense: converts half of current attack into defense at a 200% rate; capped at 300 defense points.
  • Resurgence: changed from "20% of damage dealt converted to health" to "20% chance to convert 25% of damage dealt to health."

Animation, input and interaction improvements:

  • Improved crouch animation while holding a battering ram.
  • Mimicry/Awareness Transfer support separate key mappings for better control.
  • Deleted chest-opening animations and opening delays in single- and multiplayer to streamline chest interactions.
  • Reduced excessive hang time for the spiked whip’s leap attack.

Bug fixes and stability optimizations:

  • Fixed an issue where performing Terrorizing Lunge under some conditions caused characters to move upward unexpectedly.
  • Fixed cases in casual mode where items (phase anchor, crystal tech) did not unlock tech-tree blueprints.
  • Corrected repeated looting of spaceship engine core chests.
  • Fixed summoned units from Doomsday Judgment causing reputation loss when they died.
  • Resolved character model flicker when opening UI panels, and fixed mismatched skin tones between UI previews and in-game appearance.
  • Training ground: corrected misclassification where enhanced equipment was treated as steel equipment.
  • Fixed idle chatbox chatter triggered incorrectly by power ropeway transports.
  • Resolved a problem where spaceships could slam into the ground during the final landing phase.
  • Fixed tribe ship-count issue: personally owned Shark-class flying ships now count toward the tribe’s Shark-class ship limit when added to the tribe.
  • Fixed protective-field durability issues: under some conditions fields were not losing durability when hit, and a player’s own field could block building construction; both are addressed.
  • Falcon- and Shark-class ship wings now accept dye ball recoloring.
  • Fixed an issue preventing elephant kills from counting toward the related achievement.
  • Tech tree: corrected incorrect energy consumption description for ship engines.
  • Fixed unintended spawn location for the Mysterious Strongman when using a Mysterious Mark.
  • Ground docking system item fix: connection devices created from the item can now be recycled back into a ground docking system item.
  • Resolved an issue where animals recruited via Nature Enlightenment could improperly cross servers.
  • Fixed push speed for stone pillar mechanisms.
  • Fixed issue where personal shark-class flying ships were not included in tribe limits when transferred into a tribe.
  • Fixed cases where protective fields interfered with construction and where durability did not decrease properly on hit.
  • Fixed ship engine core chest repeat-loot bug and other loot-related inconsistencies.

Miscellaneous fixes:

  • Fixed UI-related visual and interaction bugs (model flicker, skin tone mismatch, UI panel issues).
  • Fixed several landing, transport, and movement edge cases affecting spaceships and mounts.
  • Various quality-of-life and stability improvements across single-player, multiplayer, and private server environments.

Please update the client after maintenance and report any lingering issues through the usual channels.
