Preview for Sturm Graz v Nottingham Forest
Nottingham Forest have had all three results under Sean Dyche: a win against Porto, a defeat at Bournemouth and Saturday’s pulsating 2-2 draw with Manchester United.
The win over Porto boosted Forest’s chances of securing at least a play-off spot in the Europa League but it came at a cost as a leggy team were well beaten at the Vitaly Stadium three days later.
Premier League survival is the club’s priority and it seems there will be changes for the trip to Sturm Graz tomorrow night, particularly with the crunch game at home to Leeds to come on Sunday.
Speaking after the United game, Dyche said: “We will have to look at changes and rotating.
“I try to win every game, everyone will know that. I’m not one for rotating all the time, but on this occasion I think we have got to be careful with where we’re going to make sure our players are fit and ready to deliver.”
Forest have a raft of injuries to contend with as well so Dyche has a difficult balancing attack when it comes to opting who to leave out.
The good news is Sturm Graz are not in great form themselves.
The Austrians lost their last Europa League game, 2-1 at Celtic, and have also failed to pick up a point in their last two in the Bundesliga.
