Just picked up the new vinyl reissue of Megadeth’s Countdown to Extinction and it’s seriously impressive. Capitol Records did an excellent job! The artwork looks incredibly crisp and detailed, and they wisely spread it across two LPs. The sound is noticeably better: way more open, huge soundstage, and nice volume without distortion. This is how a proper reissue should be done! I also enjoyed revisiting this old Classic in this way.
