Description:
This is one of the most unique shows you'll ever hear. This is the first known performance of Bruce on his primary school since 1965. Although I'm not a big fan of this tour, this is a show you can't skip!
The show opens with a tour premiere of 'The River' with Soozie Tyrell (who'd later be part of the E Street Band). 'Adam Raised A Cain' is good, 'Straight Time' is great, 'Highway 29' is superb, 'Darkness On The Edge Of Town' isn't my favourite version, but it's solid, 'Johnny 99' is good, 'Mansion On The Hill' is performed with both Soozie Tyrell and Patti Scialfa and it's great. 'The Wish' is pretty good, 'Red Headed Woman' is solid, 'Two Hearts' is performed for the first time on this tour and counts with Patti and Soozie and it's great, 'When You're Alone' has its first performance on the tour and counts with the two of them once again, 'Open All Nigh' is another premiere which is awesome, 'Used Cars' is another premire (too many, uh?) and 'Born It The U.S.A' is good!
'The Ghost Of Tom Joad' is great, 'Sinaloa Cowboys' is okay, 'The Line' is excellent, 'Balboa Park' superb, 'Across The Border' is good, 'Growin' Up' makes its first appearence on this tour with a solid version, 'This Hard Land' is dedicated to Castiles manager Tex Vinyard's wife Marion (who was in the audience). Tour premiere of 'My Hometown' and 'Racing In The Street', both with Soozie and both have great versions. 'The Promised Land' has one of its best performances on the tour, and a great version of 'In Freehold', a little comedy piece by Bruce which is performed here for the first time ever.
The quality is great and it's complete!
Enjoy!
