Arsenal are targeting an 11th consecutive win in all competitions when the Gunners visit a Sunderland side who have made an impressive start to their first season back in the top flight on Saturday.

The Premier League leaders have gone eight games without conceding following their 3-0 win at Slavia Prague in the Champions League on Tuesday.

The Black Cats started the weekend in fourth and took a seventh point from their last three matches with a 1-1 draw at home to Everton on Monday.

Sunderland are still without defender Omar Alderete after he suffered a concussion.

Winger Romaine Mundle has a hamstring issue and defenders Dennis Cirkin (wrist) Leo Hjelde (Achilles) and Aji Alese remain out.
